This stunning set of printer’s wood type comes from the Kentville newspaper, The Advertiser, that began in 1878 and is well over 100 years old. Some of the pieces have ink and/or imperfections from many decades of use, adding to their undeniable and unique charm.
This amazing and large set contains 76 antique printer’s wood type letters, numbers and symbols in their original tray. They include mixed fonts and sizes from 5 3/4” high to 1”.
The tray itself measures 46” x 14 1/4” and is divided into 4 sections.
This is a historic, unique and very special piece that could be mounted on a wall, propped on a credenza or used for various art projects.
