The Lavumisa Basket, is named after the southern region of Eswatini (formerly Swaziland) where the artisans weaving this basket reside. This fluted basket is woven with the ‘Lavumisa technique’ a coiled weaving design using a combination of lutindzi grass, sisal and lukhasi reed.
