Beautifully handmade, perfectly sized gathering basket by Fred Fiske (1922 - 2012) of Bridgetown, Nova Scotia.
Fred Fiske was always one to think of others over himself. A great sportsman and farmer, he was inducted into 3 Sports Hall of Fame in Bridgetown, Middleton and Berwick; as well as the Agriculture Hall of Fame in Ottawa. He was an avid volunteer in the Lawrencetown area with youth, sports and the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
