This sweet melon-shaped silverplate teapot has a carved bakelite handle and maker’s stamp 1881 Rogers Canada.
The ‘Melon’ design is of the Victorian era and was so popular that the style was continued for decades. Slight abrasion marks due to use (see photo).

This teapot measures 6″ tall to the top of the melon shaped finial, and 11.5″ long from end of handle to end of spout.
