Happiness on a rack! This amazing midcentury coat & hat rack was designed by Parisian designer Roger Feraud in 1955.
Roger Feraud was a French designer born in 1921. He studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris and worked for many renowned designers, including Christian Dior, Jean Cocteau, and Coco Chanel. In 1955, he founded his own design company, Roger Feraud Design, and opened his first studio in Paris.
His designs have been featured in numerous exhibitions and are held in the collections of several museums, including the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, and the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Roger Feraud died in 2009.
