This is the kind of wall art that stops people mid-step. A stunning diptych pairing two large framed panels of handmade Indian paper, each one a layered conversation between ancient craft traditions — block printing, hand embroidery, and textile artistry — all brought together on a single tactile surface.

Look closely and the magic reveals itself. The first panel centres on a breathtaking mandala medallion, block-printed in deep black ink with extraordinary precision — concentric rings of petals, leaves, and fine geometric detail radiating outward like a sunburst. Scattered around it, smaller botanical motifs dot the surface with playful spontaneity. But the real discovery is underneath: delicate running stitch embroidery in pink, lime green, and yellow threads traces vertical lines across the entire sheet, as though the paper itself was once part of a textile. It is a remarkable fusion of media.

The second panel leans into colour and contrast — a bold chartreuse green peony bouquet dominates the lower centre, while an expansive block-printed blue floral pattern sweeps across the upper right in vivid turquoise. Pink star-shaped accents and scattered black motifs dance across the warm ecru ground, and on the reverse side, gold kantha-style embroidery traces swirling floral arabesques in luminous olive thread — visible and gorgeous from any angle.

Both panels are framed in simple matte black frames that let the artwork breathe, making them ready to hang as a pair in a living room, studio, or bohemian-inspired space. These are objects made with patience and skill, rooted in a living craft tradition — and they carry that energy into any room they inhabit.
