I’ve really been into the colorful ceramics of Italy, France and Portugal lately - I think it’s because they remind me of warmer, longer days, dining al fresco and spending most of my time outdoors! This gorgeous little flower bowl by Fratelli Fanciullacci of Italy is no exception.
The Fanciullacci pottery was founded in 1862 on the small island Capraia, north of Elba, between Corsica and Italy. Around 1911 they moved the factory to Montelupo, to be able to distribute their wares by rail more easily. The studio ceased production in 1988.
