Bring the charm of a 19th-century French bistro into your kitchen. This authentic "moulin à café" was crafted in Beaucourt, France, by the legendary Japy Frères & Cie. Before they were masters of the kitchen, Japy Frères were world-renowned horologists—and that mechanical precision is evident in the hand-crank and internal steel grinding mechanism of this mill.
This circa 1900 piece features a beautifully aged beechwood body with a rich, dark patina that only comes with a century of use. The original metal hopper lid and hand-forged crank show a wonderful "attic-find" patina. The front is adorned with the original embossed metal ‘Japy Frères, Beaucourt, Paris’ seal, a hallmark of quality.
Perfect as a conversation piece or a centerpiece for a rustic kitchen display.
