This unique printing block was used for printing adverts by the Kentville newspaper, The Advertiser, that began in 1878. Unique in that it’s composed of individual letter and word blocks, fastened into the mold. Would
look amazing mounted for display!
The block has the words ‘Choice Canada Quality - Sugar Added - 25% - Halifax - Windsor - Middleton’
I could not find what product was being advertised, but likely a food item that was being made by a Nova Scotia company that had operations in those 3 towns. LMK if you know or figure it out!
