Dutch Delft Blue comical ceramic hand painted tobacco jar with brass lid.
Decorated with portly gentleman and a less fortunate man in the stocks. On the reverse is the inscription, 'van Rossem's Toeback, Anno 1750'
Signed Blue Delfts, Hand painted, Made In Holland on base. The brass lid has a piece of felt inside to help absorb moisture. Circa mid-20th century. 
Height 6”, diameter 5.5” in good vintage condition.
