Beginning in 1881, Pictou County began manufacturing glass tableware. Three companies in Pictou County were producing glass products during the 1890s. Their pressed glass tableware pieces became collectable in the 1960s.
This charming cake stand in the Nova Scotia Starflower pattern is beautiful and collectable. In great condition, save one minor sliver off base that’s nearly invisible.
