Golden Hind was a galleon captained by Francis Drake in his circumnavigation of the world between 1577 and 1580. Francis Drake sailing Golden Hind discovered the southern most cape of South America.

Golden Hind the replica built 1973, and docked on the southern bank of the Thames in London, has become a star in many films including the award winning mini series ‘Shogun’, set in Japan.

Love the nautical vibe of this painting that’s been framed in thick laid rope, with a brass plaque engraved ‘Golden Hind’ - amazing for a seaside bunkie, cottage, home or as a gift for a maritime enthusiast!
